  1. General

    1.1 There are a number of important protocols You must follow. Failure to do so may result in Your Account being suspended or banned. We ask that You please read through the below carefully.

    1.2 All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning afforded thereto in the Terms.

  2. Instances Where Action Is Required by You

    2.1 If a User is a victim or knows a victim of the following:

  • Suicide, or has suicidal tendencies. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Domestic or dating abuse, violence or coercion. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Rape, incest. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (RAINN.org 1-800-656-4673). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Human trafficking, slavery. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (1-800-656-4673 or live chat with RAINN HUMAN TRAFFICKING). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Child abuse. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-422-4453). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Abuse against elders. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (ELDR 1-855-500-3537). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Self-harm. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (Self-Harm Hotline 1-800-366-8288). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Family violence. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (Family Violence Helpline 1-800-996-6228). Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Alcoholism and drug addiction. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case and refer the User to a helpline (Alcoholism & Drug Dependency Hope Line 1-800-622-2255). Report to 911 if necessary.

    2.2 It is important NOT to discuss the following subjects that may lead to Users making life-changing decisions:

  • Medical emergency. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case. Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Medical issues. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case. Report to 911 if necessary.

  • Legal outcomes. Do not engage in conversation. Politely say that the Services are not intended for this case.
